Master of Science in Pharmacy – University of Florida
In the UF MSPharm program, we provide personal assistance from the application process through registration. Technical support is responsive and always within reach as you become familiar with online coursework. In addition to receiving individual attention from program administrators and staff, you will gain academically and professionally through discussion boards with faculty and colleagues. Live classes emphasizing critical thinking and case studies are held in the evenings twice a week using elluminate, a virtual classroom program. Students also can view archived classes that they miss.
The UF MSPharm curriculum is designed to give you specialization, expertise and credentials. This graduate program prepares students for management careers in pharmacy business, regulatory compliance and patient safety. Health-care and other professionals, seeking job opportunities with government agencies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, PBMs, pharmacy chains, and health science centers, will be competitive with an advanced pharmacy degree from the University of Florida.

The MSPharm Program – Specifics & Curriculum
The advanced coursework consists of 30 credit hours – 24 hours of graduate work in pharmacoeconomics courses from the University of Florida’s College of Pharmacy and 6 hours of business classes from Stetson University.
All courses are taught online. Fall and Spring semester courses are 7 weeks in length. Summer courses are 6 weeks in length. There is no thesis required for these master’s degrees, and there is no need to leave the workforce or relocate. There is a mandatory comprehensive final exam that must be taken in at the UF College of Pharmacy in Gainesville, Fla. before the degree can be awarded. Students may complete the program in the standard three-year period, or they may take up to seven years to complete the program.
